More Than Just a Clinic On Wheels
UCF Health Mobile Health Clinic will provide patient-centered care to underserved members of our community while training the next generation of healthcare providers. The clinic will include faculty and students from UCF’s colleges of Health Professions and Sciences, Medicine and Nursing and function as a setting for innovative approaches and mobile technology to remote primary, preventative and specialty care.

What It is
The UCF Mobile Health Clinic is a 38-foot commercial-grade coach vehicle featuring two fully equipped exam rooms, intake and lab spaces. Additional tents and tables are used for patient registration and education. The clinic will have scheduled visits across Central Florida, focusing on the community’s medically underserved communities.

Vision and Objectives
- Serve as a mobile clinical classroom for innovative approaches to remote and expanded primary, preventative and specialty care.
- Enhance students’ knowledge regarding social determinants of health and health promotion strategies through first-hand experiences.
- Help address health disparities and improve the health and healthcare access of medically underserved communities in our region by removing barriers such as lack of transportation, lack of insurance, mobility and after-hours availability.
- Expand interprofessional education (IPE) and healthcare delivery across all clinical disciplines in team-based care.
