Greetings from the University of Central Florida. Here are the important updates from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at UCF for the month of March.
Orientation registration is now open for students who are admitted to our Summer or Fall terms and have submitted their $200 enrollment deposit confirming their seat in our class. As a reminder, no student may register for Orientation until they accept their offer of admission on myUCF and submit the enrollment deposit, which is due no later than May 1st.
The Office of Student Financial Assistance began emailing financial aid notifications early this month. Please make sure that your students are checking their email as this is the only method by which financial aid award notices are sent.
Students with strong academic, leadership, and service backgrounds are encouraged to apply to our unique leadership development program, LEAD Scholars Academy. As the only program of its kind in Florida, LEAD Scholars Academy is a selective two-year leadership development program that emphasizes community service and scholarship. For details, students can visit www.lead.sdes.ucf.edu.
And Finally, we are often asked if undocumented students or students with DACA status can apply to UCF. The answer is yes. Admission to UCF is based upon a student’s academic credentials, regardless of their immigration status. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and inclusive environment for all students. For additional information, visit www.sdes.ucf.edu/community.
Thank you for your continued support of UCF, Happy Spring, and Go Knights!
