Campus Life
When thinking about colleges, consider factors beyond academics, such as housing and campus life. Attending one of the largest universities in the nation has its perks (other than the beautiful weather!). Inspire your student to enjoy Orlando’s vibrant tourism, arts and recreation scenes. Get involved in a social, co-curricular or philanthropic organization by joining one of our 650+ student-led clubs. And begin to research and explore housing options, either in our convenient residence halls or one of the many student housing communities close to campus.
Cost, Fees and Financial Aid
A college degree should create a lifetime of opportunities, not a lifetime of debt. At UCF, 48 percent of students graduate without any educational debt. Compare that to 33 percent nationally, and you can see why UCF is gaining interest — in a good way. From scholarships, grants and loans to personal finance, we’ve got the information you need.
Safety and Security
UCF takes campus safety very seriously. Emergency Management and the University Police Department work very closely to ensure that the University has a safe environment that allows for higher education and a positive lifelong memory of the university lifestyle. We offer “Safe Walk” via the UCF Mobile App, and UCF Police will provide walking escorts to any student concerned about their safety after dark. Get involved with the UCF Cares initiative, an umbrella of care-related programs and resources dedicated to fostering a caring community of Knights.
Support Services
We are dedicated to supporting personal growth while upholding academic excellence. UCF provides an array of student support services to help students succeed academically, personally and professionally. From orientation to graduation, UCF will provide the support your student needs. As a parent, don’t miss out on the Pegasus Parent Program to support you throughout this journey.
