April 20, 2021
Greetings, Knights! Welcome back from Spring Break.
I recognize that you have faced many challenges over the course of the past year and this spring, in particular. From rigorous academics to juggling internships and work, from adjusting to living in a pandemic to managing anxiety and stress, I know it has not been easy. As we wrap up this semester, I want to share how proud I am of your hard work, perseverance and resilience throughout this academic year.
Study day is scheduled for April 27, with final exams beginning April 28 and being administered remotely through May 4. We will celebrate the Class of 2021 during commencement activities that run from April 30 to May 9.
As we Charge On through these final weeks, I encourage you to make space for self-care and to be good stewards of each other’s well-being.
Take time to unwind and just catch your breath. Check out online resources offered through Counseling and Psychological Services. Register for a mindfulness and stress relief hike through the Recreation and Wellness Center. Stop by Student Care Services to pick up a coloring book and some crayons to help you refocus and refresh.
Whatever you choose to do to help with stress reduction, know that we care deeply about your success at UCF and beyond, and we are here to support you along the way. The following resources continue to be available to all students both in person and online:
- Counseling and Psychological Services
- CAPS’ Therapy Assisted Online
- Student Care Services
- College Advising Offices
- Student Financial Assistance
- Student Health Services
- Student Accessibility Services
- Wellness & Health Promotion Services
- Recreation and Wellness Center
You have my best wishes for a healthy, safe and successful end to the semester.
Armor Up, and Charge On!
