The Environmental Studies minor is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students for a diverse set of academic endeavors and careers. It delivers the tradition of a liberal arts education with the rigor of the natural and social sciences, providing the introspection and artistic presentation of the humanities with the inquisitiveness that we share concerning our environment.

  • Additional courses may be added and will appear on the myKnight audit. Students are responsible for meeting prerequisites.
  • Up to 3 credit hours of internship of undergraduate research credit may be used with prior approval from the Interdisciplinary Studies advising office and program director.
  • Any restricted electives from the Sustainability BA/BS or Environmental Science BS majors may count as restricted electives for the Environmental Studies minor.
  • Please consult with an Academic Success Coach for guidance as your myKnight Audit may need to be manually updated.
