The Minor in Geosciences develops a student's understanding of Earth's natural processes and the interaction of these processes with related social and political factors. The minor provides a basis in the fundamentals of the earth sciences for students interested in career in fields that directly or indirectly involve the earth or environmental sciences.
Minor Requirements
- A grade of "C" or above (2.0) is required in each course used to satisfy the minor.
- At least 12 hours used in the minor must be earned at UCF.
- At least 9 hours of coursework for the minor must be at the 3000 level or above.
