The Leadership and Strategy in Hospitality and Tourism graduate certificate program will offer graduate-level leadership and strategic management courses. This certificate may be completed fully online, although not all elective options or program prerequisites may be offered online. Newly admitted students choosing to complete this program exclusively via UCF online classes may enroll with a reduction in campus-based fees.
The Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Strategy in Hospitality and Tourism provides knowledge and information that facilitates the effective use of leadership and strategic management theories and concepts in the management of hospitality and tourism businesses. The certificate covers theories and concepts as well as current issues and developments related to leadership and strategic management in hospitality and tourism businesses. Students learn to synthesize theory and application at the graduate level in order to develop and implement effective leadership and strategy practices. Students successfully completing this certificate are likely to be employed as managers in hospitality and tourism businesses.
