The Professional Master of Science in Real Estate (PMRE) program at UCF was designed by the Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate as a flagship graduate program. Over the course of 20 months, you’ll gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in senior-level positions in real estate and related industries.
The strength of Orlando’s economy and the area’s continual growth, places our students — like you — in the center of a dynamic and growing commercial real estate market. Through the program’s applied curriculum and the faculty connections to industry leaders, you’ll have the opportunity to network with Orlando’s top commercial real estate professionals and organizations.
The curriculum, which combines business degree courses with real estate courses, is taught by distinguished faculty who are accomplished researchers in their fields. You’ll advance with the same cohort — using your professional experience as an important component of the learning process. Graduates of the PMRE program will be equipped with highly-applicable knowledge of real estate disciplines that enable professional growth and development.

Course Overview
Real Estate Markets & Institutions
Overview of the core real estate concepts, property fundamentals, and the role of various institutions in real estate transactions and operations.
Real Estate Market Analysis & Appraisal
An applied introduction to the major concepts, principles and methods used in appraising commercial real estate, performing market analysis, and basic economic analysis.
Real Estate Finance & Investment Analysis
Direct real estate investing in the apartment, office, industrial and retail sectors. Financing real estate transactions, real estate capital markets, and investment analysis.
Strategic Financial Management
Emphasis on the theory and analytical techniques associated with the major financial decisions of corporate management, including risk analysis, capital budgeting, short- and long-term financial management.

Admission Requirements
The real estate master’s degree at UCF accepts applications throughout the year with the program beginning in fall. Each cohort has a maximum of 24 students and meets face-to-face at the College of Business at UCF Downtown. Here, you’ll join some of Central Florida’s most talented professionals.
To apply, submit the general graduate admissions requirements, as well as the following items by the deadline:
- Official transcripts from each college/university attended
- Current resume
- Prepare a goal statement that answers the provided questions
- Three recommendations
