Amber Southwell’s research involves preclinical therapy and strategies for inherited neurological diseases, specifically for Huntington disease (HD). Southwell has developed several novel mouse models of HD, a selective mutant Huntington gene silencing therapy, and a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarker for brain Huntington.
