Biography

Dr. Amy Gregory is an Associate Professor at the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management, where she teaches lodging courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. She has written textbooks, book chapters, case studies, and encyclopedia entries, and her research is widely published in top hospitality management journals. She also regularly contributes to industry trade publications. Her research focuses on consumer and employee behavior in the lodging industry, with a special interest in long-stay leisure lodging and related areas like sports, recreation, and relaxation.

Before joining academia, Dr. Gregory spent over 25 years in the hospitality industry, including 18 years as a timeshare executive. She has hands-on experience in international sales, marketing, asset management, business and product development, and revenue and inventory management. Her work took her across the globe, including long-term assignments in Europe and Asia.
