Biography

Daniel Britt is an astronomy and planetary physics expert who has served on science teams of several NASA missions and who project-managed the Mars Pathfinder camera. Britt’s current research involves physical properties and mineralogy of asteroids, comets, the Moon and Mars. Britt is founder of Exolith Lab, which develops simulated planetary dirt to mimic the Moon and Mars. Britt is one of several UCF faculty with the distinction of having an asteroid named for him.
