Biography
Debashis Chanda directs the Nano-Optics Group, which researches the development of energy-saving paint, improved imaging devices, improved infrared vision and image concealment and camouflage. The research focus is thin-film solar cells, the study of light-matter interactions in artificially structured metal or dialectric structures (metamaterials, plasmonic nanostructures), transformation optics for display or camouflage, printed optics and biological and chemical sensors.
