Peng “Patrick” Sun’s research involves quantifying human activity using deep learning-based computer vision technologies. Sun works on sensing and analyzing social dynamics in public open spaces and indoor built environment, developing strain sensors for civil infrastructures using nanomaterials and is interested in structural earthquake engineering.
