Biography
Ranajay Ghosh is a researcher in mechanical and aerospace engineering who works on architected and meta materials, the mechanics of solid materials, Smart materials and 3D printing. Ghosh is director of the UCF Complex Structures and Mechanics of Solids (COSMOS) Lab which looks at the area of solid mechanics with a focus on discovering relationships between geometry, architecture and materials’ unique properties to understand how biology can suggest powerful new types of materials.
