Biography

Yan Solihin is a professor of computer science who serves as director of the Cyber Security & Privacy Research Cluster at UCF. As part of this interdisciplinary research group, Solihin works on secure execution environments and computer architecture. This includes trustworthy cloud computing, blockchain, secure machine learning, software security, internet of things (IoT) security, malware and privacy aspects. Solihin is known for pioneering cache sharing fairness and Quality of Service (QoS), and inventing efficient counter mode memory encryption.
