The Financial Aid Timeline serves as a chronological guide for the important dates within the financial aid process at the University of Central Florida. Use this timeline as a guide for the important dates that student and parents should be aware of during the financial aid process.

- 2023-2024 FAFSA is available on October 1
- UCF school code: 003954
- 2023-2024 FAFSA is for financial aid during the Fall 2023, Spring 2024 & Summer 2024 terms
- December
- UCF’s FAFSA Priority Date is December 1st
- Spring Short Term Advance Application & Textbook Purchase Program Opt-in will become available
- January
- A2O Scholarship applications becomes available
- Complete 2023-2024 FAFSA if you have not as the Priority Date was December 1
- February
- Summer admits should complete 2022-2023 FAFSA application for summer aid
- Complete the FAFSA using the UCF school code: 003954
- March
- Award letters will be emailed to all new Undergraduate students
- Financial aid awards can be viewed on students’ myUCF for the upcoming academic school year
- Monitor myUCF “To-Do List” and submit/complete all required financial aid items
- April
- Summer aid will begin to be awarded to continuing students registered for summer UCF classes
- Summer Short Term Advance Application & Textbook Purchase Program Opt-in will become available
- Monitor myUCF “To-Do List” and submit/complete all required financial aid items
- May
- Monitor myUCF “To-Do List” and submit/complete all required financial aid items
- The verification priority date to submit all required financial aid items for the myUCF “To-Do List” is May 30th for the upcoming fall semester.
- June
- The verification priority date to submit all required financial aid items for the myUCF “To-Do List” is May 30 for the upcoming fall semester
- Incoming freshman must submit all requirements requested by the Admissions Office (i.e. high school transcript, residency documentation). Failure to submit these items can prevent the disbursement of aid or being overcharged in tuition and fees if the student has a pending residency
- June 30 is the last day to complete the FAFSA for summer aid
- If the student has not submitted all required verification documents by the May 30 priority date, documents should be submitted no later than 60 days prior to the beginning of the fall semester
- July
- Monitor myUCF “To-Do List” and submit/complete all required financial aid items
- Disbursement of aid begins for Summer B term
- Summer Short Term Advance repayment due
- Students can begin accepting federal direct loans for upcoming fall & spring semesters
- Notify the financial aid office of any private scholarships for the upcoming fall semester
- Students should sign up for Direct Deposit on myUCF
- Fall Short Term Advance application available
- August
- Fall Textbook Purchase Program Opt-In begins
- Fee payment deadline is two weeks after fall classes begin
- Fall aid will begin disbursing during the 2nd week of fall classes
