Celebrating the Excellence of Our People
Every year on the first Wednesday of April, UCF marks Founders’ Day by honoring the outstanding accomplishments and contributions of our employees, faculty, and students. Across three ceremonies in a day-long celebration, we recognize our exceptional people for their impact and pursuit of excellence.
Employee Honors Celebration
In the first ceremony of the day, employees were honored for their years of service to UCF, along with additional awards for employees who are pursuing excellence and helping to unleash potential in others.
Faculty Honors Celebration
In the afternoon ceremony, faculty were recognized for their outstanding contributions along with awards for years of service to UCF. Honorees include our newest Pegasus Professors and Reach for the Stars award recipients, our inaugural Medal of Societal Impact winner, college and university Excellence Award winners, and Emeritus and Emerita members of the faculty.
Student Honors Celebration
In the evening ceremony, students received the highest honors they can earn during their time at UCF, including induction into the Order of Pegasus, College Founders’ Day Awards, and recognition for exceptional research as an undergraduate or graduate student.
