Members of the UCF President’s Circle – donors who make annual gifts between $1,000 and $24,999 – were acknowledged for their contributions to the university yesterday at a reception at The Burnett Honors College.
Honors College student Tali Trenkamp was one of the featured speakers. She thanked donors for enhancing the college experience by giving her, and others, the chance to participate in the Nicaragua Study Abroad program, and providing similar opportunities for all students.
President John C. Hitt, UCF Foundation CEO Mike Morsberger, and Senior Associate Vice President of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving, Julie C. Stroh, thanked donors and shared information about the university’s fundraising effort, IGNITE: The Campaign for UCF.
Dr. Hitt also welcomed many faculty and staff members into the President’s Circle. Their generous participation in Believe, the annual faculty and staff employee giving campaign, qualified them for the honor.
Students from the UCF School of Performing Arts closed out the evening with musical performances.
