The University of Central Florida has seven home football games this season. The highlight home game is on October 17 with a game against Hurricanes of the University of Miami. Other home games are against Samford, Buffalo, Memphis, Marshall, Houston, and Tulane.
The great news is that UCF now has a mini-season ticket program. With this program, you can purchase tickets to any three games, not counting Miami, for $60 and any three games, including Miami, for $90. Of course, season tickets for the full seven-game slate are also available, starting at $150. Single-game tickets start at $25, with tickets for the Miami game starting at $50.
One of the issues dealt with this year by UCF is starting times. The four games in September and October begin at 7:30 with the exception of the October 3 Memphis game that begins at 3:30. The three games in November are at different times.
Two UCF games are nationally televised. The first is the October 17 game against Miami, televised by CBS Sports at 7:30. The second is the Sunday, November 1 game against Marshall beginning at 8:15, televised by ESPN.
UCF Community Relations will hold a Game Day update for the upcoming season on Monday, August 17 at the Teaching Academy, Room 117. Free parking will be available at Parking Garage A.
Finally, security for University Estates is similar to previous years. Our new private security company will provide community access security for all games. This replaces public security, which significantly raised its rates this year.
This is the third in a series of short articles for the University Estates Home Owners Association. In these articles, we will provide our residents of local activities of potential interest. We will begin with information about the University of Central Florida. We are working with the UCF administration to provide information on education, entertainment, sports, and other community activities.
