Employees were recognized for reaching their five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 45 years of service milestones, and recent retirees were also honored. The university also presented Employee Excellence awards.

The recipients of UCF’s most prestigious faculty honor use their inspiring backgrounds to make impacts in the fields of psychology, hospitality and cybersecurity.

College of Medicine Professor Michal Masternak and two graduate students are processing health samples last Saturday from Fram2, the latest commercial spaceflight and the first crewed flight to orbit Earth over its polar regions.

This year’s festival explores the powerful relationship between artist Marc Chagall, Fiddler on the Roof and composer George Gershwin.

As space travel advances, missions such as Fram2 provide space medicine experts like  Emmanuel Urquieta of the College of Medicine with opportunities to study its effects on human health.

This award recognizes his global impact on transportation systems and safety, and will be awarded during the Founders’ Day on April 2.

Robert “Bob” Harvey Langworthy had a tremendous impact on the university, his colleagues and his students.

The 2025 Reach for the Stars award recipients are recognized for conducting highly successful research and fostering creative activity that has a national or international impact.
