Are you a teacher who wants to know the latest techniques for how to handle bullying in the classroom? Or a school administrator who wants to learn how to impact public policy and be an advocate for children in Florida?

Teachers, administrators and others who work with children are invited to attend the 3rd Annual Early Childhood Education Summer Institute hosted by the University of Central Florida’s College of Education.

The interactive three-day workshop will address common learning and development issues young children face. Local educators and experts will lead sessions on topics such as advocacy and public policy, critical and creative thinking, and how to respond to bullying.

Workshop sessions will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Monday, July 18 and ending Wednesday, July 20, at the Teaching Academy building located on UCF’s East Orlando campus. The registration fee for the institute is $200.00, and the deadline to sign up is Monday, July 11. Click here to register.
