In an increasingly global economy, universities around the nation are developing more academic programs with an international focus. This allows students to learn how their industries of choice operate on a global scale.
The University of Central Florida College of Engineering and Computer Science has responded to this demand by offering a new minor in International Engineering. The objective of the minor is to provide students with opportunities to learn about and experience first-hand the global aspects of engineering, science and technology.
The minor pairs mostly third-year students with a partner university in a foreign country. Students are given the opportunity to study engineering practices abroad and learn about the social, professional and technical cultures of their host country.
