See, Central Floridians love UCF games – and student-athletes feel that energy when they drain a three-pointer or hit one out of the park. They feel the love every time you paint your face, wear that black and gold wig, show up to tailgate or turn on the TV and bring them into your homes.

So with the first home football game a few weeks away it’s a perfect time to catch all Knight fans up on what game day means here at UCF.

STADIUM 101

Do:

  • Enjoy the game
  • Defend our house
  • Cheer, don’t jeer
  • Respect the opponent
  • Be a good sport
  • Think reputation, not intimidation
  • Use signs, but not banners, flags, signs with poles, sticks and braces
  • Rent chair back seats at www.knightseats.com

    • Don’t

  • Smoke in the stadium
  • Drink alcohol (authorized in stadium suites and the club lounge only)
  • Leave the stadium-re-entry not allowed

    • TAILGATE 101

    Do:

  • Have fun
  • Make new friends
  • Bring your family
  • Respect the opponent
  • Honor UCF
  • Remember visitors are our guests
  • Bring propane cooking grills—if using charcoal, dispose of hot coals in designated barrels
  • Bring personal tents/canopies (10’ x 10’ or smaller) for use in “tent zones” on Memory Mall

    • Don’t:

  • Tailgate in parking garages
  • Possess or consume alcoholic beverages if under 21 years of age
  • Have open containers of alcohol once the game starts
  • Sell or distribute alcohol
  • Use kegs, glass containers or beer funnels
  • Play drinking contests or drinking games

    • TAILGATING HOURS

    For weekend games starting before 6 p.m.

  • Parking and the “open container” waiver begin at 8 a.m.

    • For weekend games starting at 6 p.m. or later

  • Gold Zone E and F lots open at 8 a.m.
  • All Blue Zone and Red Zone parking, plus Gold Zone C and D lots and garages, opens at 12 p.m.
  • The “open container” waiver for alcohol begins at 12 p.m.

    • For weekday games

  • Parking and the “open container” waiver begin at 2 p.m.

    • For all games

  • Clear lots either two hours after the game ends or midnight, whichever comes first.
  • The “open container” waiver for alcohol ends at kickoff.

    • PARK AND RIDE

    Fans and employees are invited to park at the Orlando Tech Center in the Central Florida Research Park and ride free shuttles to and from the on-campus Health & Public Affairs stop (Lot C1). Service will be available starting three hours before the game until two hours after the game.
