Late Knights hosted a spooky night on Memory Mall with its “Haunted LK” event on October 29. Approximately 1,200 people attended the event, with several in their Halloween costumes. Late Knights is a monthly student-run event at the UCF providing free admission, food, fun, games and giveaways.
The first 200 attendees received candy and all others were able to trick-or-treat from the student organizations tabling at the event. Free Halloween trick-or-treat tote bags were given out throughout the night to as well as themed shirts. Attendees played on the inflatable basketball course, spider zone and joust. They also rode on the mind winder, which was a favorite activity of the night. The event was complete with a palm reader and fortune teller.
Those in costume were able to enter the costume contest to win a Late Knights prize pack full of goodies. Smoothie King and Leo’s Italian Ice provided special refreshments and food was served at midnight. The Knightcast DJ kept the energy flowing with his mix of top 40 and Halloween beats.
Late Knights is an agency of the Office of Student Involvement which is in the Division of Student Development and Enrollment Services.
