Breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women, except for skin cancers. In fact, 1 in 8 (12 percent) of women in the United States will develop invasive breast cancer during their lifetime.
The American Cancer Society recommends a yearly mammogram starting at age 40 and continuing for as long as a woman is in good health. So if you haven’t had your screening mammogram, we’re making it easier.
UCF Pegasus Health, the College of Medicine physician practice, has partnered with Florida Hospital’s Healthy 100 and Florida Radiology Imaging (FRi) to offer convenient screening mammograms just two blocks from the main UCF campus.
