Pedestrian Information: SGA wants Knights to stay safe. Walking is good for health but can be dangerous if you don’t follow the rules.

  • Safe Knights Always – cross at crosswalks and use the pedestrian signals
  • Safe Knights Never – Jaywalk or cross the street outside of a crosswalk.

    • KnighLYNX Information: Buses are scheduled to run: If the bus is running along the route, it will pick up and drop off at any of the spots that are marked with the bus route number along the route.

  • The Blue Line (Route Marker 210) to Waterford Lakes begins at 6 p.m. and runs until 1 a.m.
  • The Green Line (Route Marker 211) to University Drive and around many off-campus apartment complexes begins at 8PM and runs until 3 a.m.
  • The Red Line (Route Marker 212) to Downtown Orlando begins at 8 p.m. and runs until 3 a.m. (KnightLYNX is free with your UCF ID.)

     Safe Escort Patrol Services:
    In addition, the UCF Police has the Safe Escort Patrol Services. If a student needs an escort on campus, they can call 407.823.2424. This is a free service seven days a week from 7 p.m. – 1 a.m. After 1 a.m. or on weekends, contact the UCFPD at 407.823.5555. An officer will be dispatched to assist you if one is available.
