Things may get a bit spooky on campus Oct. 30, thanks to the second annual Spooky Knight 5K. The event is a fundraiser for the UCF Live United campaign and is open to all students, faculty, staff and others in the community.

Participants are encouraged to come in costume for the race. The event features music, a Halloween-decorated run path, zombies lurking about, after-race food, and prizes for the top male and female runners, as well as best costume. All runners will get a race T-shirt.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Central Florida Coalition for the Homeless as part of the UCF Live United campaign. The university has set a goal of fundraising $150,000 for our neighbors in need. To register, visit www.ucfspookyknight5k.eventbrite.com.
