To be more inclusive and diverse is one of the key goals that President John C. Hitt established at UCF in 1992, and that goal continues to guide us today. This year, UCF’s minority enrollment reached an all-time high of 43 percent, and UCF is proud to have a student body that reflects the diverse demographics of our dynamic region. The Division of Student Development and Enrollment Services offers a series of activities and events to help promote awareness of diversity, differences and the respect that is deserving to each individual. At this year’s UCF CARES Bounce Back Carnival, students showed their support by placing their hands in paint and spelling out the word, RESPECT. The results: a pretty cool video! The carnival was an event of Safety Knight Week.
