The works of 22 student photography students will be displayed Thursday, May 23, through July 3 in the UCF School of Visual Arts & Design Art Gallery.
The free juried exhibit, entitled Introspective, will have an opening-night reception and award ceremony from 6 to 8 p.m.
All of the work is for sale, including some other donated student paintings, prints, drawings and photographs. The proceeds will be used to maintain and care for the gallery’s permanent collection of artwork.
All the exhibiting students are from various concentrations of the BFA or BA program in the School of Visual Arts & Design. Purchase awards from Provost and Executive Vice President Tony Waldrop, Dean José Fernández of the College of Arts & Humanities, and SVAD director Paul Lartonoix will be announced during the opening-night reception. The reception will also feature music by the pop-folk duo, Good Graeff, and refreshments.
After the opening night, hours of the gallery are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
