The sun is out. The surf is up. And summer has arrived.
Kick off your vacation with Orlando-based PB&J Theatre Factory’s “Splash.” The show opens this week at the University of Central Florida’s main campus before heading to Loch Haven Park in Orlando next month.
“Splash” is an original production from PB&J Theatre Factory. Michael Gill, a company member since 2006 and a 2005 UCF Theatre alumnus, created the show’s music and sound effects. Many others involved are also UCF Theatre graduates.
“Splash” will run from Wednesday, June 23, through Sunday, June 27, at the Black Box theatre. The production returns to the UCF Main Stage theatre Friday, Aug. 27, through Monday, Aug. 30.
The show will also run at the John & Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center (home to the Orlando Shakespeare Theatre) in partnership with UCF from Thursday, July 15, through Sunday, Aug. 1. Visit OST’s site for tickets and times.
All UCF shows begin at 8 p.m., except for Sunday matinees, which will start at 2 p.m.
Ticket prices for the UCF shows are $19 for adults, $17 for seniors and $12 for students with their IDs.
Reservations are recommended and available through the UCF Conservatory Theatre box office at 407-823-1500. Group rates are available. The box office can assist with accommodations for patrons with disabilities.
