The Excellence in Public Health Service Award recognizes medical students’ contributions to public health in their community.

The College of Medicine Health Leaders Summer Academy is a medical pipeline program that provides hands-on educational experiences for high school students from underserved communities interested in health careers.

Three undergraduate students will present their health disparities research at the International AIDS Conference in Canada July 29-Aug. 2

The Knights were named 2022 Gold Student Summer Fellows for leading a project that provides mentorship and clinical exposure to Orlando high school students from underrepresented backgrounds who are interested in the medicine.

During the 11th annual UCF Global Health Conference, over 250 interdisciplinary healthcare students, faculty, practitioners and volunteers from all over the U.S. explored the theme of healthcare activism.
