Five teams that played in postseason bowl games to finish the 2019 campaign — North Carolina, Cincinnati, Temple, Tulane and FIU — highlight a seven-game home football schedule for UCF in 2020.

The American Athletic Conference in November announced league opponents for 2020 and 2021 and today adds dates for all the 2020 contests. The AAC in May will announce the first three weekends of kickoff times and television details as well as those specifics for any midweek contests.

UCF’s Sept. 4 opener versus North Carolina already has been announced as an ESPN telecast—and the Knights’ other weekday/weeknight contests (at East Carolina, at Memphis and at USF) all will be shown on one of the ESPN outlets.

During the fall, the remaining kickoff times will be announced either six or 12 days prior to each game.

UCF’s attractive home slate for 2020 includes winners of the Birmingham (Cincinnati), Military (North Carolina) and Armed Forces (Tulane) bowls, as well as teams that qualified for the Military (Temple) and Camellia (FIU) contests.

The Knights’ road agenda is highlighted by a Friday night (Oct. 16) matchup at defending AAC champion Memphis. The schedule also includes a Nov. 7 home game versus Florida A&M that previously had been listed for an October date.

For the third straight year, the Knights finished 2019 among the nation’s top 25 after posting a 10-3 record, which included a win over Marshall in the Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl in Tampa. It marked the first time in program history that the Knights won at least 10 games in three straight seasons, going 13-0 in 2017 and 12-1 in 2018.

Tickets

UCF sold its entire season-ticket allotment in 2019 for the first time in history, and the Knights expect to accomplish that again in 2020. Interested fans are encouraged to join the season-ticket wait list. Single-game ticket availability is based on returns from the visiting team allotment.
