Access to UCF servers and computer systems will be limited Monday, Dec. 27, and Tuesday, Dec. 28, due to a scheduled power outage in the College of Sciences building for maintenance purposes.
This will affect campus-wide Internet access and e-mail and phone systems, including GroupWise, Microsoft Exchange, myUCF and UCF.edu. Knights E-mail will remain accessible during the outage, but users will not be able to create new accounts. No remote access to university computers will be available during the outage.
Computer Services & Telecommunications (CS&T) services and data centers will be shut down while the rooftop chillers and HVAC equipment are replaced in the data centers, located in the College of Sciences building.
The maintenance is scheduled during a time when the campus will be closed to minimize the impact on the UCF community.
CS&T expects all systems to be fully operational by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28.
