As part of the UCF College of Medicine’s commitment to improve healthcare for all, the college is launching a first-of-its-kind program to prepare medical students to better communicate health information with patients whose primary language is Spanish.

More than 240 faculty, including Pegasus Professors and Reach for the Stars honorees, were recognized for their commitment to excellence during the annual Founders’ Day celebration.

Employees were recognized for reaching their five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 45 years of service milestones, and recent retirees were also honored. The university also presented Employee Excellence awards.
