All University of Central Florida campuses will be open as usual on Monday.
UCF officials met Sunday afternoon to discuss Tropical Storm Isaac and its potential impact on Central Florida, and they decided that the university will remain open on Monday.
We are continuing to monitor the storm, and we will notify students and staff and faculty members directly by e-mail, as well as through this news story, if the university’s status for Monday were to change.
Many of UCF’s regional campuses are located on the campuses of partner community or state colleges, and UCF follows the lead of those colleges in determining whether classes are held at those sites. As of Sunday afternoon, none of those community college partners had announced plans to close on Monday.
Updates to the status of regional campuses would be posted in this story. Students and staff and faculty members also are welcome to check the websites for those community and state colleges: Brevard Community College, College of Central Florida (Ocala), Daytona State College, Lake-Sumter Community College, Seminole State College of Florida and Valencia College.
