HIGHER ED, LOWER FEES

As an online student, there are certain campus services you won’t need to use. That’s why students enrolled in a UCF Online program receive a waiver for some campus-based fees, including the health fee and athletic fee. You can earn the same high-quality university education that students on campus receive, but at a lower cost.

UCF Online students can join an existing organization as long as the membership requirements for that RSO are met. Some organizations may require face-to-face meetings/activities while others are more accommodating to off-campus students. Search the Organization Directory to learn more about their missions and contact an organization’s primary contact to inquire if remote participation is offered.
Membership in a fraternity and sorority chapter is limited to any student who is paying activity and service fees and is currently or continuously enrolled with the University of Central Florida.
All items sold in the UCF Bookstore are available for purchase online. To explore the selection and purchase textbooks or UCF branded materials visit the University of Central Florida Official Bookstore.
Work study is not open to online students as many work study positions are located on the main campus of the university.
