Over the past several years, the way events are hosted, managed and scheduled has transformed and there’s been an increased demand for virtual and hybrid events driven by emerging technologies. Created for professionals with three to five years of experience in the event industry, UCF Online’s Master of Science in Event Leadership will teach you the latest industry trends and build upon your existing skillset to help you be successful in a highly competitive market. Course Requirements

In order to earn your MS in Event Leadership, you’ll need to complete 30-credit hours of graduate course work.

Number of Core Classes

Students in the Event Leadership, MS will complete 10 three-credit-hour core courses towards the completion of this degree.

Event Trends, Technology and the Macroenvironment

Engage in the analysis of how macroenvironmental forces affect the event industry with special attention to technology, sustainability and social responsibility.

Advanced Event Design

Commence in a critical examination of the strategic design principles including technology that affect the production of, and stakeholder experiences with, an event.

Events Across Borders

Explore event management from an international perspective including evaluation of the design, location and organization of events across international borders.

Skills You’ll Gain

How to formulate strategies and implement design principles that elevate the event experience for consumers across multiple disciplines.
