Biography
Celina Dozier joined UCF in Fall 2019 as a lecturer within the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering. She has worked on a variety of projects, including the monitoring of PPCPs in urine compost, assessing membrane suitability for water reuse, and the arsenic contamination of soils from playground structures. Dozier also served as a researcher and coordinator for the Water Innovation Network for Sustainable Small Systems- one of two EPA-funded research centers whose goal was to support the small drinking water systems throughout the United States. Her research interests include engineering education, disinfection byproducts, pharmaceuticals, and the application of materials science to environmental engineering processes.
