Biography
Dr. Lisa Martino joined UCF’s College of Community Innovation and Education in December 2017. She has over 13 years’ experience in career and technical education. Dr. Martino has devoted her work to teaching pedagogy to subject matter experts who wish to become CTE teachers, industry or corporate trainers, and educational administrators as she is passionate about CTE policies and advocacy. Her areas of expertise include career and technical education (CTE), teacher education and professional development, and distance learning. Dr. Martino’s research interests include CTE teacher preparation programs, comparative studies in CTE, and diversity and inclusion in CTE.
