UCF has a well-connected constellation of more than 380,000 alumni, and almost 50% of them are in Central Florida. As a key economic driver for the state, the university’s most significant contribution stems from the added human capital — the knowledge, innovation and entrepreneurship — of UCF alumni.
The most recent data available* shows UCF generated $8.1 billion in total added income for Florida’s economy annually. Almost 83% of that — $6.7 billion in economic impact — was generated by UCF alumni alone. And they continue to pay it forward.
A $5 million pledge from accounting alum Kenneth Dixon ’75 will support UCF’s newly named Kenneth G. Dixon Career Development Center (formerly Career Services), as well as UCF Athletics — further helping Knights achieve success in the professional world.
