From debuting a new UCF commercial to Homecoming Week activities that brought Knight Nation together, this fall was full of exciting events.

July 22

During Opening Knight, which is a student organization fair that kicks off Pegasus Palooza, members of UCF’s Jamaican Student Association welcomed new students with engaging conversations, cultural pride and information about the group.

Knightro takes center stage at Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy’s Studio 500 for a new Knight Your Ride campaign video, hyping up fans for UCF’s specialty license plate.

UCF fans of all ages rallied together to cheer on the Knights as they defeated Sam Houston State University during the Family Weekend football game at FBC Mortgage Stadium.

Themed experience graduate student Kadeem Stewart ’17 joined the set at the Student Union boardwalk for the filming of UCF’s new commercial, which premiered during the Knights’ football game against the University of Colorado Boulder.

This fall, UCF debuted a new commercial, directed by Jon Strong ’11 of Strong Films. Former UCF and NFL linebacker Terrance Plummer ’15 made a cameo to demonstrate the motion capture technology used for video game development at Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy’s Studio 500.

UCF and Orlando have grown up with, and because of, each other over the past six-plus decades — becoming so tightly knit that one would not be the same today without the other.
