Studying abroad is not only an incredible way to spend a semester, it’s also one of the most impactful ways students broaden their worldview. This summer, 41 UCF students — including 36 students who received scholarships to attend — traveled to Spain to participate in the inaugural session at the UCF Barcelona Center for International Experiences. In between classes, students engaged with the local culture through outings like city walking tours, visits to famous sites, a tapas tasting, flamenco lessons and more for a truly immersive educational experience.
“From the cultural experiences, academic exposure, and people from near and far that I will always remember, this trip has been one of the greatest [times] of my life.”
