The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Medicine , together with CENTRA (Andalusian Public Foundation Center for Andalusian Studies), is conducting the study The Effects of Long COVID on the Mental Health and Cognitive Functioning of Women in Spain.
The aim of this study is to determine the prevalence of memory problems among women who report long-term COVID-19 symptoms and whether significant differences are found by demographic characteristics (e.g., age, education) and COVID-19 severity. We will also assess the impact of their memory on their overall quality of life.
The study results will contribute to a better understanding of the effects of long COVID on mental well-being and cognitive functioning in women. The findings will help develop effective strategies to treat long COVID symptoms in the future.
